The ads after booking a class are annoying, unnecessary and intrusive. Screw you guys for being greedy and putting ads there. Find a way to make money some other way for the sake of the customers that are forced to use your app since that's the only one the gym uses. I liked this app before this new update. 2 stars. Editing: When prompted to leave feedback about the app in the app, the email address it sends the email to is not deliverable. Fix it!

Samantha

I like the ease of looking up and booking classes on here, very efficient. Editing my review to 4 stars for two reasons: 1 - difficulty exporting receipts for classes/packages purchased through mindbody, and 2 - inability to export calendar events for classes. I use an alternative calendar client (proton), and I have to add my classes manually versus importing from an exported .ics file.

Enbleepification complete. The only reason to have this app is because it's required for a lot of classes. They've cornered the market, so they can make the app as bad as they want and users are already locked in. There are pop-up ads Every Time you sign up for anything, it nags you to share (advertise for them), and it's very hard to find the new classes/studios you want unless they're paying to advertise. If you can do without it I highly recommend doing so.

Unable to rely on calendar syncing for class registrations causes me to miss classes I signed up for weeks in advance. It sometimes works and other times I need to toggle the calendar sync. Feature should be removed if it's not going to be reliable. In addition, app has started to insert offers for other products when registering for classes. This is disruptive, not exactly a mind-body experience.

Cannot even access my class credits on the app. I enter the email to the account with the credits and am simply told to create an account, but an account already exists with the email I am entering. It is beyond frustrating and enough for me to avoid signing up for any future classes that require using this service. I'm an outlier I understand but this is not cool.

I've been using this app since 2020, and it's been constant exasperation. I hate interacting with this company! Recently, I downloaded the app twice on my mobile devices because every time I select my profile, the app strangely resets to the homepage and logs me out. I had to use my laptop just to change my password, and even that process was irritating. Instead of being able to change my password directly in my account settings, I had to log out of my account and request a password reset.

Maggi Dawson

The app uses intrusive ads now every time I sign up for a class. Which is most days. I didn't want green chef yesterday or the day before or today. I clicked the needs improvement button and it auto opened an email so I sent that feedback and today I got a server email saying my email bounced. I hate mindbody and I hope someone comes up with an alternative that my gym can use to sign up for classes

There are so many bugs! Fix the Oops error every third time I use it. It won't even work for a day. Tried uninstalling it and re-downloading, but it is just a bug in this programming. There should be an option to make a class I signed up for into a calendar event.

This is a great way to schedule a class at my local gyms. It gives me the schedule, how many people are in the class, how many people can be in the class, The instructor, the time, a description of the class, and pertinent information like where it's located! The only problem I've had is that sometimes it crashes, or won't load. I don't know if that's the app's fault or my internet.

App is extremely unreliable, constantly logs you out, then when you log in your saved places are gone. Always having to reinstall. Class sizes are limited due to covid which is understandable, but it will sign you in and send a text that you got in then you show up to class to find out your not. Very frustrating. Wouldn't recommend this app!!! I wish my gym would use a different app.

Stephanie

So, I used to love this app. I use it for virtual classes and I've taken classes from all over the US, as well as some classes in other countries. The search feature used to allow searching for classes without having a location selected. However, now it requires a location and if not, defaults to Davis, CA. I can't even modify a distance radius from the listed location. It just selects what it thinks it local enough. Please add a radius selection option and allow an 'anywhere' option again!

This app might be the most frustrating app I've ever used. First, their website was horrible and the way they manage user logins in a confusing way, especially when you want to sign up for multiple classes from multiple providers. I finally broke down and installed the app. I tried searching for the place I want to go to tomorrow morning, and typed it in about 10 different ways with no successful results. Anyway, their website is confusing, and this app is just as bad. Complete fail for trying to register for tomorrow's class.

Only works about half the time I open it. Sometimes it doesn't open at all, other times I'll sign in but it won't recognize it, or I get "Whoops. Something went wrong..." I've reported to support, and both times was told to uninstall/reinstall, but when that works, it's only for one or two uses. It's just become too frustrating. I HAVE to use Mindbody to sign up for classes at my Y, else there's no way I'd keep trying to use it. Now I usually wait to be on a PC and go that route.

This app is terrible. Search functionality is lacking and there is glitchy communication between the app and the studio. Took a survey a few years ago and mentioned about the search hoping it would be improved but it has not changed. Brings up irrelevant results, can't find studios I know are in the area and use the app, forces you to search for classes day by day instead of letting you see what the studio has to offer overall, map search doesn't work (at least on my phone).

Marie Nellist

It worked fine till last week. It appears the issues affect Android users specifically. I tried to reset my password and received a network error message. I tried logging in and it does not recognize I have an account already!!! Tried resetting password and I get 'network error.' If the site is going to be down then make that apparent when trying to login!!! I've wasted 2 hours trying to make this work!!!!!

Sarah

So it's great when it works. But since the update I can't book some classes. Also my schedule starts in April 2021. As much as this year sucks, I kind of need to know what I have booked in it ... Seeing other reviews raised similar issues and got a reply asking the user to email an address I said great! I'll email that address! I sent an email withmyconcern. It was an automated reply that says "thanks for helping make the app better with your feedback." The "support" pages are useless. Argh.

Eric Mulhern

My god, everything is broken all the time. Super unpredictable user experience and not a fan of the layout either. It should be easier to: see my schedule, book a class, add a booked class to calendar. Beyond that, very frequently features just do not work. Currently I can't even use the app. I open it, it prompts me to update. I update the app, click open again, it prompts me to update even though I've already updated. And there isn't even a place to report a bug. No bueno

R H

Great for seeing schedule of your favorites but search function for new studios absolutely sucks! It doesn't accept zip codes for location search (seriously?). It recognizes my Florida city location but shows me classes in ILLINOIS. It has been this way for about 2 years but please don't bother to fix it. Don't ask me to contact developer because you can see this is not a user problem; it's systematic.

Caron Wills

I'm not sure what the developer of this app is thinking. It's so slow and so glitchy. It keeps telling me I have a poor connection but guess who did a speed test? That's right, ME! So if it's slow and my connection is fast, where is the problem. The app. The app doesn't remember selections. It won't let a person search for businesses without turning on their location permission for the app. It's just a really shady practice. If you can schedule without this app, do. Its got unnecessary bloat.

Melissa Arnett

Terrible filtering options, keeps crashing. Why is it showing me gyms that are 20+ miles away? Come on now. You should be able to filter on distance. Really dumb. And also price per class. Easy stuff here. Last couple days keeps crashing anytime I try to search. These guys have so much of the market cornered, the least they could do is maintain this app and add a modicum of sensible filters.
